We drove two hours Friday and had a sort of intervention. Cheryl contacted the county who referred us to a rehab facility and a counselor with the agency set up a conference call that took place when we arrived. My daughter was angry and felt ambushed, but she agreed to talk and scheduled an appointment with him. We would prefer she went into an institution, but anything is better than nothing. Then we ended up refereeing a contentious marriage counseling session between them; something we did NOT want to be involved with. There was tears and shouting, but i think, they scared themselves, in a good way. I don't know. I hope something good will come of it, a long road ahead, no matter what.
