1) 20 years ago today, 'harry and i tied the knot!
Since then there have been many ups and downs, but love, usually! triumphs. 'harry and i were married twice that day. A small ceremony was planned for my mom's back yard; but at 35 or 40? people, it got too big for me. So we had a first ceremony with the maid of honor, best man and a witness, down in the park in the early AM. I went home to sleep after a nights work and i don't know what 'harry did until later. We never told our parents because we did not want to disappoint them. The second ceremony went off with no one the wiser.
2) We packed #1son off on his three day Washington excursion. The buses were on the road by 6:30 this morning.
3) Three days ago (sunday) i proudly stuck my new red geranium in one of those big outdoor pots. Every night since then it has been pulled out by a raccoon. I don't know what it's looking for, the pot has been there all winter and hasn't been disturbed. Also a marigold was pulled out of the middle of a flat that is sitting on our porch. The flower is fine, i just popped it back in the tray; i don't think the geranium can take much more though.
