Maybe this kind of thing is routine on the northern plains but Ohio is not used to it. It's still below zero, actually up a couple degrees from earlier and the winds have dropped some. They're is an 18" drfit in the drive that i'll need to comntend with tommorow and i hope the wind drfops a little more. The lights flickerd a few times; at one point i saw an eerie electric blue glow in the sky as a transformer blew up a couple miles away.
Us old timers will still say it wasn't as bad as the Blizzard of '78 which buired a semitruck somewhere on an Ohio highway.
