31 S. Washington St. Tiffin Oh.

100 years and counting and the tiles still brighten.

Santa on the 2nd floor, Tiffin.

We drove a little over 100 miles, to visit a glass museum in Tiffin Ohio. Tiffin had a large glass factory until the early 1980's. Pictures weren't allowed in the museum, but if you want to look up Tiffin glass you'll get an idea of what they made.

Solid old buildings. The tiles are beautiful and must be very good quality.

And I really love Tiffin glass! I note that your state was noted as a glass and porcelain manufacturing center.

Good to see you two taking these interesting trips!

Yeah can't imagine any entrance from today looking the same in 2120. The South East part of the state is good for pottery and the North West is good for glass. When I was very young we lived in Toledo and the ground was nothing but sand underneath the turf.

I love finding those beautiful old tresholds with tile patterns. Don't build them like these used to for sure. Do you collect that glass? Did they explain how they get the gold rims?

I have a few old bottles, nothing special; though I did just buy a Vaseline glass shot glass on ebay! See, I didn't ask the right questions! One thing that was interesting was they had some of the old molds with an actual glass piece inside; gave it a different perspective. I have one more threshold to post.
