Less than an hour later clouds full of lightening had drifted in.

Also from yesterday, ever notice that what the eye and camera see are different? This is closer to the view my eye sees, the building in the distance appears closer but i see less horizon than in the 'real'

In the past couple days there have been rain, storms, wind, flooding a tornado and now fog. I'm realizing how little sun we see here.

Something is wrong here, I think the clouds with the spot of bright sun confuse the meter into darkening the shot.

Ah, summer thunderstorms :) (That's if it IS summer yet!)
And oh yes, what we see is different from what the camera 'sees'. We talked about this in art classes. The eye takes in what it wants to see (and looks all around) and our brain processes what we see - leaves out what isn't important to us.
