Delaware County courthouse, Delaware, Ohio - 1868. July 4, 2011.

We rolled into Delaware just in time for the Independence day parade. This made getting to the courthouse a little tricky; we ended up strolling down N. Sandusky St. past bakeries, music stores and a little theater. Delaware is another college town, something Ohio is full of.

next door to the courthouse is a massive Carnegie Library done in a sort of combination Romanesque/Arts and Crafts/Prairie style:

Carnegie Libraries sort of all look alike, but that one is pretty grand. We have one in our small town too.
