Winter, c-1992-93?

I found this evidence of a lie and death drama that had played out in the snow, hours before i passed by. A small rodent, a mouse? was tracking across the snow, when spied by a hawk? The bird swooped down, as shown by wing marks left on the snow, the animal leapt forward, two or three more times, in a struggle for survival. Finally the bird caught it's prey and in a frenzy, beating it's wings, caught and killed it's victim; leaving behind a little fur and blood.
