#1daughter signed the papers yesterday, freeing her from financial responsibilities with the house. She was in tears after she came home; these were probably more like divorce papers then withdrawing from a mortgage. She had dated him since she was a teenager but, no matter what, he couldn't step up and propose marriage. I only hope that we aren't wondering why she didn't stay with him after she meets someone else.

She spent the weekend with an old girlfriend of hers and i suspect cried it out and it's probably in the past by now. She's always been an old soul but, with an edge. I hope the same thing.
It's really fantastic to listen to her teach her class upstairs in her bedroom. It's a remarkable time.

A coronavirus silver lining, that you actually get to hear her in action-- there are a few. It's wonderful that she's such a gifted teacher. What kind of MA is she going to get, and where?

She hasn't mentioned it for awhile, she was looking at one the, what do they call them..a national private university? I don't know if they really count or not but she hasn't mentioned it for a couple weeks; i'll have to ask!

Seriously, though, I'd love the hear when you find out. 'Hope she goes to a real school, hate to see a fine heart and mind wasted on one of those for-profit diploma mills.
