That's my Bohemian loaf of mazanec, which possibly translates to Easter bread. I have no idea if it's authentic, i even found a video of a woman with an accent on youtube who supposedly was making an authentic recipe, then she says "I added some so and so" everybody does that so; this is something, my interpretation of something i've never had or seen before.

Was it delicious? And did it get its beautiful shape from a pan or from skilful braiding?

Actually it was pretty good; these sometimes tend dry out, even with all the eggs, i think because the loaf is so big, it has to bake a long time. Nope, i braided it, four strands then made it into a ring.
