If you could only smell them!



I think the slightly blurry quality fits in with the intense, dizzying, aroma that you get from lilacs. Breathe this in too strong and they'll knock you down.

Beautiful! I can almost smell them from here :)

My lilac didn't make it this year. Not enough sun, I think. It got totally crowded out by a forsythia, which doesn't really get enoough sun either. Trees got bigger.

Wow, astonishing color! Beautiful. We have a poor constrained lilac in a container. Last year it got one flower; this year it got four and we were really excited. I miss having one in the ground, full of blooms.

This plant doesn't produce like it once did, trees have grown over, blocking out sun light.
