1) Gray day today, the light at 9:00, noon and 4:00 looked the same; dim, without shadow.
The darkness is affecting my mood; real or imagined, i have that seasonal light deprivation thing. After work, i aimlessly walked around the house, half doing chores. I did manage to change a malfunctioning light switch.

We can't all be millionaires; but since when is $40,000+ "BAD PAY?"?
Ever seen on either CBS or the Today Show, on the weekend; where they have 'How to make a meal for under $40.00? And they are very proud of themselves!
How can they report on the recession when they really have no clue about pain?
3) #1son has found a girl that will give him the time of day; yes he has a girlfriend. I find myself more worried about this then #1daughter having a boyfriend. She is 16, somewhat responsible and not impulsive. #1son is 14, some-what, some what, responsible and impulsive. Where i can expect #1daughter to say "No" when needed, i'm not so sure about my ADHD son. Will he go overboard in love, as he is already showing signs in this four day old relationship? The girl appears to be nice and her parents cautious, a good thing! The two were actually in preschool togehter and then hadn't seen each other since then.

Yeah, those who 'have' have no idea the meager income some have. A previous prime minister we had did not know the price of a bottle of milk, and assumed that all people drove the then $40,000 four wheel drives - which cost as much as my house!
Teenagers are always a worry but they have the best dad in you :)

Of course, if you want to end it for him, you could get one of those light hats and wear it when you pick him up at school.
I didn't get too far with the article before it illegal-operationed out on me. I'm totally with you on the forty dollar meal thing. But I kind of get their point about the jobs: the 30-40,000 pay range is very modest for jobs which often involve high stress, extra unpaid time, high responsibility, high liability, and frequently, substantial educational requirements. By contrast, many jobs which demand much less pay the same or A LOT MORE.

I understand the strees factor, but many of those jobs are eqaul or better than average HOUSEHOLD income. My point is that whoever wrote this, obviously makes much more.
