Had lunch with my mom today; she told me that she and my aunt had been in touch this week, with their elderly aunts in Wisconson. One is 88 and the other is 99. These are, of course, my grandparent's sisters. I just shruged my shoulders at my mom and told her that we could have gone up there this summer.

I don't want to hear about this; i don't know why my mom wouldn't go. 'harry and i had everything planned; 'harry had given me that box of Medford Wisconson tourist infortmation; i'd picked out a place to stay and all summer, my mom just shakes her head and doesn't want to go.

ehh.

Also relating to family, i was able to push back my family tree another generation, last night. On family search http://pilot.familysearch.org/recordsearch/start.html#p=home i found an ancestor who was born in 1796 along with his parents names. 1796, imagine!

I wonder why she wouldn't go. Sometimes those last visits, with the "last" unspoken, are hard to make.

I have thought of that, still, she hasn't been there in 60 years, and she has two relatives still living from her parents generation; it was three a couple years ago. She has talked about wanting to see the farm where her dad grew up and see the pile of rocks he collected out of the fields, in back breaking labor as a kid.

I don't know.
