no name yet and he has to stop waking me up to play at 5:00 AM.

This is how we usually see him, batting something around the floor.
Ever notice how much a mess the house looks when you see it in pictures?

The garden last week, but this is already outdated, there is much greenery but not much else.

I keep talking about the cool summer here and i know most of the country is anything but cool. But you know, last night, a couple minutes after midnight, just before i went to bed, i went outside to look at the full moon; which was very bright. Anyway, i'm standing there looking through the trees and i'm thinking: Well, this is it, we're past July 4, this is high summer. If it doesn't warm up soon, really get hot, it's not going to.
We can have a 90 degree day in September but usually after mid August, it starts that gentle slide into fall and the weather can turn on a dime; the rest of summer could blaze away, but not yet!

Aaaw, aaaw, aaaw! We will get a name soon, won't we? And I hope she stops waking you up at 5 am soon! Are you the food person?

Your garden looks good!

And I really hope you get some good roasting hot weather before summer goes away.
