A red squirrel have been terrorizing my barn, you've seen the photos of what they can do before. About two weeks ago i set up a couple rat traps - like mouse traps but bigger, break a finger if caught bigger. I waited and waited and nothing happened. In fact it had been a little quiet in the barn all around. However, Thursday i went out to work on glass and there splayed across some sheets of glass was the trap with a squirrel; very dead. The trap had been on top a cabinet above the table and it he must have somersaulted through the air when he got it. It was a blood bath, mess everywhere. What should i have expected, something neat?
