My daughter turned 29 Sunday and this was the first birthday where I didn't see her and the second where we didn't have our picture taken together; the other was the day she was born, where she was photgraphed but i wasn't.

I thought of pulling a stunt where we could video chat and someone else could snap a picture of both of us but, when it's over, it's over.
