More from the other afternoon:

Start with a more amenable shot of that trail to the deep - Oh, that looks happy!

While not exactly a brownfield, Coe Lake is a recycled landscape. A former quarry, where the earth was dug, streams were rerouted, and many, many workman lived and died.

the landscape kept throwing itself at me wantonly,

what could i do but take dozens of pictures?

Coe Lake looks beautiful now, even if manually dug a long time ago. Our dump was a quarry where apparently the marks of convicts could once be seen on the stone, but it has been filled in, now.
The next two pics are just beautiful!
