My mother is a raker, she wants her yard raked everyday. She worries about her leafs falling in her neighbors yard or blowing into her neighbors yard. I raked the other day and pointed into her trees and said: "Look, you still have all your leafs; these are someone elses!"

Being of the nature of a sloth, i wait until as many of my leafs have fallen before i start to rake. After that i just run the mower over them, it's good for the yard.

It is very hard to be grown up with a perfectly good pile of leaves to be pounce on.
