Tulum, Mexico. November, 1990.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tulum

After we arrived by a 1 hour bus ride, i pull out my camera and the lens is fogged by a combination of ocean humidty and tropical heat. My first thought is "Oh Shit!" because, looking around, i can see, this is a once in a lifetime opportunity. After a few minutes, the lenses do clear, leaving no damage; but a chance for a few "dreamtime" type photographs.

This is a beautiful spot of which, you can get a much better impression by consulting google image search, but i will have a few of my own in the next days. Though the scenery is stunning, i didn't feel overly 'at home' here. I've never been comfortable with the overt violence of Central and South American religions.

Did you change the layout? That's only half the image???

Dream quality works so well on those ancient buildings. I've not been to Mexico, so I like to see what I'm missing. :)
