A few weeks ago Twitter was all afire with Betty White's 100th birthday, and with Betty White herself tweeting "I'm going to be 100 in two weeks and People magazine is going to help me celebrate!" and I was like "NOOOOOO!!! It's ok, I guess, for other people to say it, but for YOU to say it like it's a done deal is just tempting the fates TOO MUCH. You're 99 years old!" And then, sure enough... :(
