Well this is weird. For the past 10? days or our lights have been flickering. I had put it down to cheap LED bulbs, but on Friday i watched from the shower as the ceiling light dimmed out and came back on while the bath fan continued to run. My theory was that some low wattage devices, the stove clock, a charger and the bulbs were reacting to power fluctuations. I checked the ceiling fixture; the wiring was fine. I felt this was an electric company issue and was planning to call on Monday. But, this evening several lights in the house went out; walking around i realized that the lights and outlets that were out were all on two circuits while the rest of the house was fine. I shut down the breakers and #1wife got a text from the house behind us saying they had the same issue and also the house next to us. The utility was contacted and there is such a thing as a partial power outage and that's what three houses have. It was supposed to have been fixed an hour ago but i'm guessing three homes are not a priority; fortunately everything important is running; the refrigerator and the furnace etc. Yes, the furnace has come on. But, how on earth can part of the power be out?
