We are having snow flurries as i write; this is the latest i've ever seen snow; beating out where i've seen it snow a couple of times on my birthday, the 6th.

I'm still an essential worker; who can complain ?

The amount of people who surround me, grousing about facemasks or weather the pandemic is real or just a cold, is frustraitng. Did they have to convince people the flu was real in 1918?

#1son's college semester limped to a finish this week; he feels cheated and he was but so have most students on the planet. #1daughter packed up her school room for the season; she feels she has a good chance of being rehired but, into what?

Saw a clip of-- Indiana University?-- having a graduation with a Sheldon Cooper construct, like, a screen with a headshot on top of a garment hanger, rolling along and picking up a diploma, taking a photo with the president. Seems to be so much talk all the time about whether you "walked"-- we never cared much. 'Hope your daughter gets to teach from home in her pajamas!

Amazingly late snow. I'm being pathologically careful about everything, but I sympathize somewhat with people that have doubts, especially those whose livelihoods are being annihilated.

We had a city official fired over his Facebook post on the virus-- if it's too bad for Antioch, it's pretty bad.

My daughter's school has failed to provide much of an education since the closings, her hands were tied and there wasn't much she could do. The same as "the state or the system" has failed to provide for a lot of people. I understand that but there is more to the opposition than econmics.

He seems a cross between Scrooge and Hitler; these type are always around.
