Spouse and i are having different responses to the pandemic. She'll wear gloves out in the world, which i don't accept at work. But she gets home and i tell her that her phone is contaminated and thus, so is everything else. I have sprayed some sprayable groceries. This is nutz, i know it's nutz; but she gets upset. Time togther.

Saw Anthony Fauci on the Newshour(?) the other day; he was saying, yeah, disinfect areas with contact from lots of people, e.g. doorknobs, but honestly, he didn't worry about it that much, he just WASHED HIS HANDS FIFTY TIMES A DAY.

I'm trying to wipe off things I have to put right in the refrigerator with alcohol, though it can be a little difficult (plastic bags?); the rest of the stuff I just leave in quarantine for 24-48 hours and consider it good to go.

I am washing a lot, mostly because of work, some because i worry if somethings contaminated in the house that doesn't have to be. Skin is dry and cracked and she has been ill, headache and stomach upset since this morning- so hopefully, it's just some other bug because i don't need to feel like "i told her so."

I wash my hands fifty times a day anyway and I have to say the single best thing for reducing dryness is using soap, not detergent. Dr. Bronner's or something similar, if it's liquid. You probably already know that. Most people just roll their eyes when I tell them.

I think i let my water get too hot, even though the tap at home is only 120; after awhile, it's cumulative damage. I never use antibacterial because that drys out my skin as well.
