Transmission is shot.

Worked my last day in my building, taking the rest of the week off; not sure what they will have for me next week. I got comfortable in my place and that's always a mistake.

Starting to lose my cool about everything going on but then i think about it and i'm always losing my cool about everything. In fact i really don't have any cool to lose.

I'm am already sick of our friendly news personalities telling me that "We're all in this together".

The daffodils get more extraordinary every year; I haven't had to buy a new one in 20 years, i just replanting.

I have some tiny yellow ones like you showed, but when I was a kid, we always had the large yellow ones in front of our yellow house. When I was at Mills, there was a beautiful field of narcissus that came up every spring, spreading every year.

Bulb-deficient here, though-- I have so little actual ground.

Are there any native bulbs or perennials that you could grow, what about yarrow?

But yarrow turns into yarrow!

That's interesting, native bulbs, I'm not really sure about that. I've actually failed a few times at growing California poppies-- considering that they volunteer all over, pretty sad.
