My niece flew back to Phoenix today - Saturday. it was a fun week, she doesn't act like someone who's had MS for 10 years. See how i do that, throw in the negative? but that wasn't me, that's life.

She visited my mom almost everyday she was here and probably won't see her alive again. (Did it again) We, cross that out*. I am changing our hospice provider because the one mom has will not communicate with me.

Besides the relatively mild pain killers mom is taking she is going to receive morphine as needed.

I'm depressed, i mean i'm always in a funk but this is a little more real. It's more than just my mother and her past decade of suffering.

I've been here before.

*I've spoken to my brother less than the hospice staff since mom went under their care. I really don't care if he can't handle this, i really do not care.

RE: siblings, you know, at some point it's just more help if they stay out of it, if they've never managed to come to the party in ten years. That's my opinion, anyway.

Your niece sounds like a wonderful person. I'm so sorry about the bleakness-- I think it's what happens if you're actually paying attention. Not everybody is.
