My email about receiving the 16 hours extra overtime was met with a stern "This is why you should always make sure you use the time clock..followed with the overtime will be deducted over the next two pay periods" AND NO "THANKS FOR THE HONESTY!' I had indicated that the extra pay was possibly my fault because I may have forgotten to use the clock after lunch, one night. But that doesn't add up anyway, i gave them a quick answer and they went with it; no one has discovered the 11 hours from the previous period, not holding my breath.
Temperatures have cooled but leafs are still on the trees with spotty color change. The weather people keep saying it's the less light that changes the colors but we have less light and green trees, a frost is needed to finish them off.
I have predicted a cruel winter here, simply because i'm eating everything in sight, trying to build my layer of fat.

Winter. If only we could stay holed up in our domiciles, binge-watching Netflix or binge-reading Russian novels, until spring.
