there are stars in the skies

Third night after my second cataract is removed and i just came in from outside. I walked out at 2 AM to throw out some things to the compost - yeah, i know, but it's me and that's what i do at 2 AM. Anyway, a very clear night with a heavy frost on the ground; the moon is very bright. I stop and look around and i can see! Not only Orion and his belt but the sword is there too along with many other stars that i used to know. Sight!

That is wonderful wonderful news. The stars reveal all! I expect to hear more... you know-- naked-eye sightings of the Andromeda galaxy, etc. Glad you're over both hurdles and it all went well.

Whoa! Still have light pollution to deal with; but yeah it's much better.

Still the next couple weeks i have to watch that i don't lift anything over 20 lbs and i have to watch for an infection.
