I have to say the cataract surgery is one of the most bizarre things to happen to me. I can barely see at the moment because i have this plastic eye patch over the left eye and my glasses are barely hanging on over them. But, i survived. The next several weeks are full of eye drops; three different medicines twice a day for the next 35 days. I go back for my first follow up tomorrow.

At the same time my brother will be taking our mom to her follow up to find what the Dr. wants to do next. Health wise, mom has been unstoppable, she seems healthier than before.

Yikes! This is not something I look forward to. It seems like I've heard of people in recent years going home without even having their eye covered, but it sounds like you have a lot of maintenance to do. I hope it gives you eagle vision.

Glad to hear your mom is so resilient.

Wow, is that without the corrective lens? That's great.

'Hope it all heals up fast, and lessens the anxiety.
