dragonfly, snake & toad

Now this was an interesting situation, my sympathy lay with the toad but saw no way to do anything about it. I couldn't see how the snake could accomplish his meal because the toad is seemingly to big to swallow. I came out later and the toad was gone, the snake was still there and he was fatter but it did not look to me like it had a whole toad in him

Pretty dragonfly!

It is surprising what snakes can swallow. I feel sorry for the toad, too. Many snakes here rely on frogs and toads for their main source of sustenance eg the red bellied black snake.
