or "Lorita's painting" I found this in the trash where i worked several years ago. The senior center where i uesd to work held a flea market once a month. This was a true end of the line junk sale; for five or ten bucks people would rent tables and sell old worn out tools, clothes, video's etc.

The painting wasn't sold and someone who was tired of carting it around, left it behind. It has an old world charm about it and it's not badly done either. Though it doesn't show up in the scan, it's signed at the bottom: "Lorita".

On the back is written
"Lorita
Abilene Texas
1962"
Actually that's what made me take it home. Who was this lady painting pictures in 1962 and how did it end up in my hands 1000 miles and 45 years later?

Detail from the side, the picture wouldn't fit the scanner and came out a little blurry due to warping of the board.
Here's to you Lorita.
