Waiting for the apocalypse

or a really bad storm. The news is all about this storm that is supposed to hit us in a couple hours: http://www.newsnet5.com/dpp/weather/weather_news/powerful-storm-expected-to-hit-midwest supposedly we are going to get slammed; right now it is windy and warm, mostly sunny; i expect most of the leaves will be off the trees when this goes through. This is the same storm system that gave us this:

i guess i'll go pick up the lawn chairs and wait for the end, hope to see y'all on the other side!

Edit: How about that, it wasn't so bad after all, some places in the area got some hail, but now it's just raining. I think the city breaks up a lot of the force of these storms and even though we are on the western edge, it never seems as bad.

I now see why someone said above that they were glad you survived the tornado/storm. It sounded pretty intense! I suppose city buildings stop the wind just like trees do.
