U.S. residents fight for the right to hang laundry
http://news.yahoo.com/s/nm/20091118/us_nm/us_usa_laundry
Being in charge of, most, of the laundry in the house, i've always hung it outside as long as weather permits. One of the most spacey, touchy feely, bleeding heart, liberals we know, once suggested that it was a little trashy to hang out the laundry -hypocrite! I've always done it to save money and second the planet. I don't hang 'harrys underwear out but if you don't want to look at my boxers, close your eyes!
This just reinforces my belief that home-owners associations are pure evil. I've told my children: "Never buy a house goverened by an association!"

Aren't they going on about global warming and pollution and scarcity of electricity? They ought to make their minds up!

And I think clotheslines are beautiful. God forbid anyone should have to look at reality!
