My garden hell.
I planted in good faith.
My first tomato a sort of enlarged Roma style beauty, was eaten from the bottom.
Two tomato plants withered away.
I had the largest pepper i've ever grown. a supermarket worthy orange beauty that also was eaten from the bottom. You could see right inside the whole pepper.
The stem of the next pepper fell offf the plant and it turned to mush on the ground.
Just yesterday i saw a cherry tomato about 20 feet from the plant, bitten in half and left to rot on the ground. This wouldn't be so bad but i'm getting only three or four cherry tomatoes a week.
On the upside; after my potato plants were nibbled by deer in the Spring, i fenced them and they have thrived like never before. I have no idea what's going on underneath but the greenery is good.
The same with the Rhubarb i was given for my birthday. The three plants are thriving even in the heat we've had. A year of mysteries.
