A cold night, the sky is blue black with white clouds scudding across the stars. Winds are gusting 20 MPH. matching the temperature. I came home an hour early and the feral cat is waiting for me. I boil some water and take her some food. I poured the water into her frozen bowl and within ten minutes she is able to drink form it. The next couple weeks are predicted to be as cold as today. I watched her skitter off to one of her hiding places; what else can i do?

Had my shot today, my arm is a little achy but nothing serious; hpoe that is as bad as it gets.

I don't think we'll ever be safe again, in the same way. I recently read that we are still dealing with the 1918 Flu; that this is the same strain that mutates evry year and comes back and kills again. Maybe, we will look forward to yearly vaccinations for Covid.
