I'm alright, really.
Working a poem about grief but the pieces won't come together.
We have what they call float holidays at work. no one, including HR, really seem to know what they are. The agency acquired the float holidays when they took over another agency in Toledo. Yes, just like in the corporate world, non-profits gobble each other up. The only problem was that someone didn't do there homework and it turned out the the gobbled agency was several million in debt.
Originally, a few years ago they told us that we could use a float holiday on a day attached to another holiday ie. black Friday. At this point it includes birthdays and any holiday that is not recognized in the agency calendar. So, i requested December 21; no questions were asked, then again, no one cares.
