What i'm sayin' is that it was cold and bright and it's hard to take a decent picture when you can't see it - literally, 'point and shoot'

More than forty (good-god!) years ago mom would be bring us here to swim. The rope runs through the post in summer and you had to pass a test to be on the left; the submerged quarry ledge runs below.

Keep the snow photos coming, or 'pictures of cold'. It must be good for something! Meanwhile the wind is picking up and it's still raining here. Not torrential yet.

So, would one reason you couldn't see be because your eyeballs froze? That happens to me.

Yeah, those are the ones I meant. I think they were kind of miniaturized, compared to ice age mammoths. I wish they were still alive.
