As it's fair week, i biked over to the fairgrounds to get a picture of the giant inflatable cow (she is anatomically correct). This was about 11 PM.

When i got home and put my bike away, i heard what sounded to me like a wounded dog in the woods by the tracks. I got out my flashlight and couldn't find anything, but it definitely sounded like a dog but it crossed my mind it could be an owl. I dragged #1son out of bed to call 911 if i got bit. He looks up in the tree and says "It's an owl"
1:30 AM, it's still making the sick dog noises.

Lucky you to see the owl. I've only ever seen one. I guess I should start listening for them after dark and head out with a flashlight.

Love that cow!

And that cow is terrifying, even worse in the dark when cows should be asleep.

Look at the fence next to "it". This thing is two stories high.
