We went on an Independence day road trip; covering several hundred miles, four county courthouses, and an "indian mound" they still call them that, not Native American mounds. Everywhere we went it was mostly sunny but had just rained. We stumbled upon this, looking for a picnic spot to eat bologna sandwiches on wheat. At this tiny little park, we ate in the car. because the three picnic tables were wet. The sign said something non-specific about a mound; i was dubious, but my spouse convinced me. We followed a trail that was sometimes someone's drive way, sometimes tropic trek, mosquitoes included. (.45 mile) can be farther then one would think. After many bites, i said to 'harry "One more bend" - meaning either it was here or we go back - and there it was.
The link carries almost all the information i can find, the mound is about 30 ft high, though looking down, it feels like 50. I put on my psychic hat and felt nothing, silence. If there are bones down there, the ghosts had left the building; or i'm not so good at that as i once thought i was.
It seems that the mounds in Ohio that have been saved, were done by heroic effort on a shoestring budget. This one carved out of some farm field without enough money to have a trail separate from the drive; the great Serpent Mound is the same, other mounds are saved because they have golf courses or cemeteries built upon them. Many other were plowed away a century ago.
