Middleburg Hts. Ohio. October, 2009.

Some years back there was a crystal-meth lab here, under the highway. Neighbors noticed lights on at night; they must have had portable generators, or long cords from a nearby motel. All that is left is the urban style graffiti; you can't find anything like this out in the burbs. I didn't know about the 'art work' until last summer, when i walked the long way to the service garage to pick up my car for repairs.

Yes haunting, you have to wonder, the atmosphere under here, when the cooks were at work; what kind of people, what smaller crimes did they commit here. When the local paper covered it, it was treated as almost as a novelty. The nerve or stupidity of the bad guys to do this out in the open.

It is an islolated spot in the midst of the city, some houses are only a five minute walk, i live maybe a mile away.
