We had close to 2" of rain on Sunday; most people in the area that i've spoken with had snow but i didn't see that.

I* planted potatoes the week before, then it got cold and wet. It's always a crap shoot. I ordered the potatoes early this year and still a lot of places were already sold out.

Also trying tomatillo seeds, though i think i planted these too late. Is ground cherry another name for tomatillos? Anyway if i can get a small batch of salsa out of this i'll be happy.

We've inherited my mother-in-law's 2010 van; she's still alive but being legless and she prefers to ride in Cheryl's Subaru. I'm getting rid of the 2009 Ford Focus. It needs a new exhaust system and is hard to sell without and i don't want to pay to get it fixed because i won't get that money back. I can't in good conscious sell it for the prices i see online ..$3,000 - $5,000. these are cars with higher mileage, it's insane; how can you be poor in this country? I offered it to my co-worker for $600.00 and she wasn't interested, even though her husband goes through cars like i go through toilet paper. So, i found a charity and i'm donating it.

While cleaning the car out, i notice there is a back pocket in the passenger side seat; i'm never back there, how would i know there's a back pocket! I reach in to the pocket and pull out a library book on bread making. Oh! It's been there so long, i don't remember it; someone must have sat back there and put the book in the pocket; could have been ten years ago. I must have paid the library but i'll take i'll take it back to them.
