The rain stopped and Saturday was decent, sunny, temps in the mid/upper 40's; and after two weeks of cold rain, sunny and 47 is a nice day. It was a good clear moonlit night for Halloween; did you see my squash? The temps rose through the night and peaked in the early morning and started to drop; clouds blew in and gale force winds drove snow pellets and ice. I won't say we have accumulation, the snow is only sticking to cars and patches of fallen leafs. Today was raw and ugly and if i said Sunday was the "polar" opposite of Saturday, the pun wouldn't be too outrageous.
I went to the cemetery and they finally planted grass and what the geese haven't eaten has started to grow. I tucked a little bit of fur from my mother's cat into the dirt at the edge of her stone. I'm glad she missed this year, it would have been hell on her to try and understand.
My daughter's school has told her that they do not intend to try and bring in class learning until January. If then.
My son is still frustrated with his at home learning; how can you learn to be an engineer at home?
