64 degrees at 3:39 AM and it feels like a preview of fall. It rained almost nonstop for over two days. Usually not heavy but always something was coming out of the sky. The coming week we are going to barely reach 80. It's only the beginning of August so, who knows where the rest of summer will take us.
My daughter has been back with us for several weeks now; it looks like the relationship is over. She had the nerve to tell us over the weekend that the house was cluttered - well it wasn't before she moved back home! But for the most part it's been ok. She plans to spend a year at home and save some money. I hope she follows through and doesn't move out too quickly.
I'm still going to work; even got a small raise! I'm surprised we're still there, there's not much to do, cleaning offices some of whose desk calendars are still set to March.
My mom's grave is still bare; the stone was put in but they only lay sod twice a year; Spring and Fall. Last Spring was to early.
I didn't see the comet, maybe i did one night. I was standing outside with my coworker and we saw something indistinctly sparkly, which is probably the best one could hope for in the city.
