(no subject)

I'm spoiled because this was very round about but here's the weather.
We've had steady rain since Saturday night. The heat has gone out of summer. This is my least favorite time of year. The weather varies between stunning quiet days with late summer sun and blue skies that go on forever (I call them Sept. 11th days because that's how it was here and in New York. The other end of the spectrum are days of dead air that are almost cool with oppressive humidity; you wonder why you're sweating when it 65 degrees. At least 90 is honest heat.
