We had the edge of a hurricane go over us as they frequently do. I found this neat map that goes down to street level to show that we had 2.19" of rain in a little over 12 hours. Only a couple miles away where my brother lives it was 2.89". The randomness is interesting.

The tail end of a hurricane is as close as I've ever been, and that was plenty.
