Saturday evening, we noticed the very orange sun hanging in the sky; last night the weather bloke (like that?) said this was haze from the wildfires.

You must wonder how i move around with all the things i have form my youth but, i pack well; my two real specialties in life are baking bread and packing.

Horrifying, that the smoke could reach that far, but I don't doubt it.

I tried to take a counter-picture of the orange sun here, but my camera doesn't catch it-- it tries to turn it back to yellow.

Just hang on, they're going to be valuable antiques. I have a couple of pairs like that, but they're just regular. I'm sure Lefty will add a few thousand dollars to the value.

I've had many a picture messed up because the camera "auto corrects' to whatever it thinks the shot should look like.

That can be tricky, sometimes on Roadshow, they can't price something because it's unique. My thinking is always "It's the only one, it's worth a lot!".
