Mom had her surgery; the surgeon said that the tumor was large. My aunt was there and asked if the surgeon got everything and she said "No" there are always stray cells around that don't get removed. They will test to see if mom the cancer cells are receptive to hormone therapy and put her on that, if she's lucky. Mom handled the surgery just fine; two hours afterward she was sitting there eating chicken marsala for lunch.

I am so glad to hear that she came through well. I hope they can treat her with something that causes minimal distress. 'Hope you're ok too.
