8 sec of video from the point and shoot, so not the best quality. No the guy isn't dancing with a tractor, he is trying to kick a chock block in place. What i hate about photobucket is the suggested videos they add.

Oh, I love it! Those tractors were old even in my childhood, but still used here and there. That belt looks even more dangerous than it did in my childhood :)

That's something that they were still in use; the belts were a concern but i wwas more worried about these old tractors blowing up!

They are danged noisy, I can say that! I'm sure they contributed to deafness in farmers in old age.

And, yes, I used to worry about the steam trains blowing up! Even though they were well made, they scared me as a child.

I once saw a kitten misjudge when it jumped through one of those belts. That was the end of it. Splat! They used to jump through it quite often. We only had that belt going when the electricity went off and we had to used the old diesel(?) engine to drive the milking machines. I was more scared of the belt used from the tractor to operate the chaff cutter and also the grain mill in the grain barn.
